OUR HISTORY

1994

CITI was founded in September 1994 with a team of three partners and three collaborators.

1995

CITI installs the first business fiewall in Monterrey and takes a new challenge as an internet provider for large users.

1997

CITI ventures on remote vulnerability evaluation. Check point chooses CITI as business partner. CITI opens offices in Monterrey on March 18.

2000

CITI opens offices in Mexico city.

2001

E-Management commercialization starts, software developed by CITI for creating self-managing portals.

2004

Valista chooses CITI as their business partner in Mexico and initiate the Street Seller from Telcel towards more than 70 millions users. The first e-Time Selling version is installed.

2005

The Business Internet Unit from CITI initiates its process of CMMI norms fulfillment. CITI ventures into outsourcing market.

2009

CITI implements the third mobile reloads version in Telcel, which supports more than 80 million transactions by month.

2012

CITI is the new provider for Mobile Payments Organization (OPM) by offering its business module for person-store transactions. Autoservice portal (e-Seller) is installed in Telcel.

2014

CITI earns TIPSA certification for its NOC 2/SOC (support for bank solutions) and conosolidates as provider for mobile phone industry by installing the fourth version of the reload platform in Telcel and its Web Responsive/Adaptive solution in Iusacell (Chameleon). s-Seller reaches more than 20 millions transactions by day in Telcel.
